The Wedding Reception

The reception is around 7:30pm but the guests arrived as early as 6:00pm and mainly were from my kampung. At that time, I was still in bed in my room no 553, facing the KIA and i could see the new runaway from my room and also Kak Wa's( Hafiz AF7 cousin) house. Snah was at the bridal for her make up, accompanied by my newphew Nevin. I managed to take the hotel bed pics together with my lap top.. yup, i also managed to chat with friends too... hehehe

Around 6:15, my parents came up to visit my room. Together with them was my brother and my sisters and also Evelyn and Korno. The room was so big that it could accomodate more than 20 people at one time. So i did have my prvacy at that time, quite tired after the photograph session with Yon around Kuching town. So i took that 3 golden hours to close my eyes and gain back my energy because i want to look fresh that night. By 6:45pm, the band played lively.

Around 6:45pm, everyone went down except for the flower girls, the bubble blower boys, my wife sister, Ruth and Nevin, my wife and I, preparing ourselves for the last time to look good. Again, i didn't know the bridal didn't prepare anything for me to wear that night, so i wore a shirt which i bought few years back but it was quite small but it suits me that night. That was the 1st time i wore that shirt. Around 7:15 i call my wedding planner, my sister Doli asking her what's happening in the ball room.. Below is the picture of my parents with my inlaw infront of the ballroom.

Doli: The guests are 90% arrived, including your guests from Brussels and your special guests Izza and Iqqa, Hafiz sisters. Her mom sent them just now.

I was so happy upon hearing that. Around 7:45pm, we went down to the ballroom and wating for our que to march in. Everything was perfect and according to the plan. After everyone had their seat, the hotel as usual presented us with the delicous (i hope so) foods. The band played their numbers accordingly. There were songs selected sang by our friends. My sister Ivy and my cousin Joseph were the emcee that night.

Thanks to all whom made the ceremony so succesfull and a memorable to Snah and I. You know who you are and God Bless you! We had the cake cutting and did some toast with 3 languages, Iban, Kayan and Bidayuh... Oh ya, it started with Hallelujah!

But the most exciting part was the joget or mejeng. My cousins were the most happy. Everyone took their time to dance the joget. Rugi sik.. hehhee. Snah and i had enough so we went aeound and meet our friends and relatives and we took pictures with them. I think the reception fininshed around 11:30pm. But we were still there chatting with friends. Frankly i did not eat into the fullest. The food was nice, it's just i did'n have the right mood to eat and drink the wine. I heard that the Argentina wine was fabulous.

Here's another picture of the guests doing poco-poco.
