Spring Cleaning

Yesterday Snah and I didn’t go to church. We have another plan that is to do new house cleaning. I was so excited about it and managed to wake up around 6.30am but I went to bed again because it was too early! Finally it was 9:00 a, I picked her and later on we went to the shop to buy something to eat in case we are hungry. Cleaning a new house is very easy because there are nothing in it, still empty so I just use the hose which I brought earlier. After some mopping, brushing and wiping, we were fully done around 12:00pm. I can feel my bones ache and I started to have a headache. Snah took out the mihun and some siau-bi and we had our first lunch on the floor, in the living room at our new home.

After that, went out to 7th mile, Courts and Chan’s furniture to do some furniture hunting. It was fun though. We have a lot of things to buy like our king size bed with mattress, dining table, settee, oven and some other basic needs. But since we have no money, we just look around and tell each other which one we like and dislike. We went back around 6 something. Darn, I was so tired, took my bath and made myself a glass of big hot tea; lay down on the blue sofa while watching TV. Suddenly mom wanted to bring us all to my cousin’s house blessing at Kota Samarahan and I was just helpless! I didn’t want to disappoint everyone so I just drive us there. Well, I became excited again after a while since there would be eating session tooJ I have not eaten after the furniture hunting anyway…

I bump into some friends recently, friends whom always give advice to you even though you don’t need any of those ‘sacred saying.’ Since I’m doing little things at my new house but I have not yet moving in, they give me some advices so that I won’t meet any of the ghost nor the jins or worst, I own a haunted house! Here’s the list. It’s just their opinion and nothing to do with religions.

1. Put the salt in a bottle and store them at the kitchen area
2. Keep onions in your kitchen area
3. Visit your house every 3 days
4. Throw some rusty nails in the garden area
5. Don’t sleep with your head towards the window
6. Start moving at dawn, before lunch time
7. Move house on Friday
8. Rest/sit at least an hour before you go out from the new house

All in one.

We just had a BBQ, we went out with bother and sister earlier to survey something for my brother's future need. Not a woman, and not a pet, but something lah.. hehehe.. Its nice that i can say and write anything in my blog, tho it sounds not funny and also not clever, well, it's my blog... ha ha ha.. After the long trip, my brother found what he wants. Finnaly.
We didn't go straight home instead we did some shopping for the BBQ tonight. We had chicken, merinated with the special sauce while i did the vage salad mix with chicken nuggets. We also were really looking forward towards offing our lights for the earth hour! Every one were so excited. Pithui, our cat too! So, we ensure to finish dinner before 8:30PM. What else, with the AF show at 9:00PM so everything must be at place, clean and tidy. My fiance Snah was there too.

***************** eeaaaartttthhhhhouuuuurrrrr************
Yes, Hafiz was superb again tonight! He managed to entertained the whole Malaysian with his song. Ok, looking back at the songs selected for all the AF students, the songs were so the very old! Of course i know the whole song but maybe not to the people 5 years or more, younger than me. For them, its the challenge, to me, like Adlin said, if they really want challenge, sing some 70s-90s English song! Oh, i wish to see Hafiz sing Copa Cabanna or Careless Whisper, hahaha...
Pelajar cemerlang on that night is still Hafiz! like i mentioned earlier, he is on his way to the grand prize.
To the eliminated students, thank you for your effort and all the best! To the principal, you did a good job as far as i'm concerned! You look sexy and beautiful. I like! To the teachers, continue to do your duty as well. Pakai rotan kalau perlu! To Astro, please show/air every students on TV fairly so that we could agree why and how the students can become the pelajar cemerlang! As for Qhaud case, he was so playful yet he managed to become the Pelajar Cemerlan, maybe it's the blessing in disguise for Claudia becuase due to that she too was given chance to call back home and say hi to the mom and son. God's plan. Aku pasrah. To the students, please stop the drama, stop gossiping, be quiet if there's nothing to sing, open your mouth if you need to - apply when you eat.
To Hafiz, you are excepted from all these, please be naughty because you are so quiet, please go the kitchen and eat somthing because i never see you gossiping at the kithen, please cry and show some feeling on Monday to Tuesday morning only, and improve on the other days onwerd because i think you might become the pelajar cemerlang every weeks and finally do indulge me againthis week ya! Syabas to you!

Bi-Annual Check Up

Today i was on leave. I went to the Normah Hospital to do my Bi Annual medical check up. Gosshh so many patients waiting for the doctors to check them. Malays, chineses, and the Dayaks, they were all looked fine too me, but maybe its the inner health problem.. I was informed that Normah just changed to the numbering system, means it's a better system lah where for those who came first will be treated first first. I think it should be that way after so many years kan? The good thing abought the 'Old' system was, people like me can negotiate with the nurse to be served or checked first. Yes, i did experienced that. I did the whole 3 tests after one another, in different rooms because the tests are short and quick! Ok, let me explain about the test. 1st 5 minutes, they took my blood sample, after that, they need my urine sample , ofc ourse i can give them straight away adn finally is the lung test. Ok, this one takes about 10-15 minuts before you can go back! But to my horror, i need to wait for more than 1 hour for each test in 3 different room which made me stayed in the hospital from 9:00am to 1:00pm! It was a waste of time!
Well, i managed to had lunch with my beautiful fiance at the KFC Hopoh.
After lunch i picked up my parents and brought them to my house for a gardening session.. Dad planted 5 coconut seeds just outside my house while mom and i managed unwanted wild grass. We went back home around evening time. I didn't go out after that, just relax at home, mentally tired i guess. Yeah, i was given another project by my boss yesterday morning. The 1st project is 90% before implementation. Need to study the new one thoroughly base on our ISO/TS16949.
Ok lah, good night!!

Sarawak Idol

I read Mr Manager' blog this morning and i found 2 pictures of Hafiz and his family. Couldn't believe what i did actually, but yes, i copied it since Mr Manager had already gave a green light to the HFC. Fan club? Gawd... i never like any artist especially Malaysian artist before, i love Datuk Siti Nurhaliza's songs and I admire Nikki for her great effor and Hafiz? I think he is genuine and original that's why i alwasy looking forward to watching AF every night and of course to his performance on every Saturdays too.
Last night, after the news on TV3, i went to the main living room and i saw a piece of paper, a song with the chords on it on the piano. Oh, it's Hafiz song, 'Cinta ini membunuhku' Hmmm, does my brother vote for Hafiz too? Or perhaps, he loves the song too? So i played that song on the piano and the tune was so magical. Am i exaggerating? Nah.. Below is Hafiz and her little sister.

Cinta Ini Membunuhku

My song selection for this week...

By : D’Masiv

Kau membuat ku berantakan
Kau membuat ku tak karuan
Kau membuat ku tak berdaya
Kau menolakku acuhkan diriku
Bagaimana caranya untuk
Meruntuhkan kerasnya hatimu
Ku sadari ku tak sempurna
Ku tak seperti yang kau inginkan
[Reff]
Kau hancurkan aku dengan sikapmu
Tak sadarkah kau telah menyakitiku
Lelah hati ini meyakinkanmu
Cinta ini membunuhku

Bagaimana caranya untuk
Meruntuhkan kerasnya hatimu
Ku sadari ku tak sempurna
Ku tak seperti yang kau inginkan

Back to Reff
…. Wooo…Uuhh…Haaa…
Lelah hati ini meyakinkanmu
Cinta ini membunuhku

Hafiz a star in the making!

Yesterday I drove Zach and the group to the Cultural village. He pay for my entrance ticket too. We departed from kuching around 10:00 and arrived there around 11:00am. Managed to visit Rumah Bidauih before the cultural show started. The cultural show was around 45 minutes where the dancers dance the ngajat, joget and accompanied by the local musicians. Then wen proceed with rumah Iban, Penan, Orang Ulu, Melanau, Melayu and orang cina. I lost my polarized specticle after we saw the gasing performance. Gosh... it was my favourite specs. We had lunch at the PJ choice supermart KFC (Again??) before we visited the Cat museum. By that time, the rain was like cats and dogs. It really spoilt their outings. Around 4.50pm, after visiting the Batu Lintang teachers training college, i sent them direct to the airport.
I reached church around 6:06pm and just in time for the praise and worshihp practise. After the practise, Yon treated me kueh tiau and some drinks at D'light, King center. Chat until 8:30pm, Rushing home to watch the Akademi Fantasia. Th AF opend with an energetic dance and song from the students. yes, they sang in tune and with harmony. They showed us a good dance without leaving any lyrics out. I like their outfits. White and Red, really mature and sophisticated. They looked smart and handsome too.
I don't want to focus on the bad ones, but my favourite on that night is Hafiz, still. Though there were some off tempo and off pitching, especially on his second number Toyol, just like what Adlin said, it was OK! He looks naughty and cute especially on the screaming part TOYOL!... hahaha...I could not understand why Kaut was the best student that night. I need to know the criteria of being the Pelajar Cemerlang. Is it base on the 1 week performance or only base on that 2 limited hours show? Either one, Hafiz should be the one. Even the jury said so too... Next time, i do hope the ASTRO would change the voting methode. Make it a 50% thru sms and another 50% comes from the Jury! Only then, more quality stars can be produced in Malaysia. Adila was voted out from teh academy which i have no comment on that. I hope next would be Ariel, Yazid and etc. malaysian voters are so kenegerian i reckoned. So be it, until then, i have no favuorite on the local singers though. I only prefer Samson BAM and lots more from seberang... :)

Friends from Penang

Yesterday after 11.30am, I went out and drove immediately to my house at Riveria. Saw parents, child fruits, Andy, Fiance and the drille men were there already. The house drilles were superb. I'm satisfied with the designs and the material, simple and nice! They finish doing everything late evening. I didn't plan anything with Snah so we just went back home. This morning after doing some house cleaning, parents, child fruits and I went to the bank. Yes dad is getting his penssion today and he wanted to trat us KFC. So after paying the bills we went to Wisma Hopoh for KFC lunch. The kids were so excited. I called Snah to join us since her office is just around the corner. sent the res back home after that while i sent the car for the Quarterly service at Tabuan Jaya. I was given two gifts upon buying 2 bottles of 4 littres each of Petronas engine lubricant. Wow, it has been a while i never received anything from anyone and those things obviously made my day.
Stopped by at the Choice mall to buy packet drinks and ice cubes for the night fellowship. Yes, tonight we'll having a fellowship with four USM friends from Penang. i went to the Tune hotel around 7pm to pick the 9 of them. 5 small size adults and 4 cute children. The 1st one to arrived was Sharon. It was a pot bless tha night so she brought sayur cankok manis, roasted chicken with a big pot of delicious soup. Next was Aidan and Judy. They brought delicous fried sotong and friend fish and pork leg too. Finally Melcome came and he brought a barrel of KFC chicken! Oh it was fantastic! I bought 6 big packets of kues tiau and the foods were more than enough to cater about 24 of us. I lead the praise while Sharon played the piano.Zach share for about 15 minutes followed by the rest of the troup where they shared about their trip to Sibu. dad raised his concerned about the christian students who study in the west too.
So that evening everyone talked and raised their opinion and thoughts. I personally enjoyed the fellowhip, updating each other and meeting new friends. I sent them back to the hotel around 11.30pm.

Earth Hour

I read my brother’s blog regarding the Earth Hour which is being advertised on the net currently. I felt it is worth to sign up the petition seems earth is the only planet that can accommodate human being, plants and animals under one sun and one moon. I think men now days are more aware on the earth sick condition and men in unison must agree to take responsibility in all the damages which were done by their ‘innocent’ forefathers. I’ve submitted my support signature thru an e-mail and I do hope that you will do the same. Save mother earth and let our children live in a better place.

For me, i'll off the lights after the akademi fantasia concert is over.... Peace!

House for Rent

Today, after work I drove immediately to the Batu Kawa, planning to meet the potential renter of my fiance’s new house. So Snah and I plan to meet at the shop before the bridge after work. I thought the traffic would be bad, I was wrong. I used the back road because I know the main road would be jam. I was wrong about that too since Snah arrived 10 minutes after me. I managed to buy 2 special burgers by the road side for us and it tasted nice. I didn’t know that special burger was sold quite cheap. Inside it there were chicken meat, beef, half cheese, a hot dog and finally the egg. In Kuching town, that would cost around RM6.00. But I pay RM3.80 only. Well, consider the distance from home; the cost was rather the same. We finished the burger and didn’t want to leave the car at the remote area, we both drove there. The new house is at Taman Moyan, I think 5 minutes drive after the Batu Kawa Bridge. That housing area was so quiet, cold but new. We waited for about half and hour for the couple to come. When they arrived, it was dark already and we need to on the car lights so that they are able to see the interior. ‘’ Consider this trip as a 50/50 chance lah, cos I need to confirmed with my mom’’, the lady said. ‘’ No worry, take your time since we are not rushing either’’ I replied back. We went back around 7.30pm.
Arriving at home, I saw my brother Terry was at the patio, having his great time with his 2 friends from Mukah. They were waiting for me to send them to the bus station. They just arrived from Sibu in the afternoon, sending the company’s lorry to Kuching for service. My brother Terry or Igat is a lorry driver which carry palm oil fruits to and fro the palm oil company. The company is at Mukah. So I only see him maybe 4 times in a year, which is during Gawai Holidays, Christmas Holidays and Chinese New Year Holidays and during adhoc case, similar to this. Since the bus departs time was at 10.00PM, so I drove them to see Kuching City. There were ‘wows’ and ‘uuuus’ especially when they see high rise buildings, many cars and beautiful landscape. I’m not surprised since they all just came out from a remote area. After an hour drive from north to south, east to west, I drove them to the Biaramas bus station. See you in May bro! Arrived at home around 10pm. Watched sitcom ‘House’, a new episode. Slept around 11~pm.

AF7 Starts Again

It has been quite difficult having no internet at home. Updating my FB and the blog in a coffee shop with Wi-Fi is such a fuss…I can even memorized the price of the drinks like the coffee, milo or even the can drinks. On the second thought, maybe I should ask for a night shift job to get a free Wi-Fi and a glass of hot tea. Last Saturday I went out with my fiancé to the photo studio to select the final pictures to be put in our photo album. Later on, the whole family went to Tabuan Jaya for lunch. I had my laksa Sarawak; it’s the 2nd for that week. Around noon time, Snah and I went to visit our new home to do some gardening. She planted some chilies. The green and red ones. Gosh, the rain was so heavy and we need to stop half way. That evening the whole family had a delicious home made bi-hun soup. Ya, I had 2 big bowls of it! Yummy. The top event for that night was the Akademi Fantasia 7. No football instead we watch an entertaining life music. I was really hoping to be entertained that night since ASTRO claimed that they have chosen the best 14 out of 9000 candidates! Oklah, I want to comment a bit on some of the presentations since I too, once the premier AF fanatic. (A daring confession?).
I won’t complain about the new principal for she was chosen by the majority. She had delivered her mission clearly and it is her duty to ensure her sub ordinates to transfer the mission down to the students with 101% effort. I’ll become pissed off if the teachers and the students fail to do or follow the mission because of their own stupidity, lazy, bongok and unnecessary emotional grief! So teachers, please do your duty according to the guideline and students, learn, practice, apply and excel!
Here’s my two cents on last week’s concert. I always like to be BIAS when doing this unless there are other singers with the x-factor that can wow me only then I’ll forget the spirit of Sarawak Boleh. I only know that Claudia Geres is my neighbor through my brother. I have a friend by the name of Leslie Geres whom worked with the Sarawak Times news paper and he lives just on the other lane from ours. He is a singer and he sings beautifully. Believe it or not I only realized that they were related to each other only today… Hahaha! Silly of me. But Claudia needs to find her own identity else she’ll become the gossip material of cheap media in the market. To me, she won’t stay long because there are 3 Sarawakians whom need the votes from the local. Of course, one (finally 2) of them must be voted out in order to have a Sarawakian as the next AF champion. Between Claudia, Hafiz and Aishah, at the moment, Aishah and Hafiz are my favourite. Actually I favour for Hafiz. I was a little bit pissed off when he was first time being introduced thru another programmed hosted by Jimmy. Hafiz and his whole family look irritating and I was like, YARABIIII HABIBI and then told myself, out he goes!!!! I never knew he could sing like that. I fell for his voice pulak that night! Or was that song that mesmerized me? Anyway, good job Hafiz. I hope you will win this AF7 and to be the 1st Sarawakian to have the apartment in Melaka with Stacy as your left neighbor while Mila on your right side but far far away from the Raja SMS’s apartment. No offence please. Next week, please indulge me again. Not to have any overall favourite yet, but I keen to say that Hafiz won last night!

What were the ‘’flaw Vs Ok’’ on that night?
- Too much of Adlin declaring himself as engaged Vs His remarkable comments which made the other sounds unreasonable.
- Edrie self-proud comment on selecting the right semi-finalist over and over again Vs the semi-finalist really could sing with mouth open wide
- Dato Kt Ib was so Ms Nice and mother theresa like which is so at the wrong place and at the wrong time Vs She praises the Sarawakian as a whole (tho I can’t sing, I feel I can, that night)
- No AF song Menuju Puncak dance Vs the opening dance was superb!
- No Gimmick or tag lines Vs Padan muka Hafiz - Sabar Hafiz, I suppot you….huhu…

Cost Saving

Last Thursday I took a half day annual leave. I was thinking of having lunch at the Mc Donald since they have the special offer which is worth of your money. Actually I have so many things to do on that day and I don’ want to waste my time lining up with the rest in Mc Donald. I ended up at a coffee shop eating a bowl of delicious Laksa Sarawak! After the fatty lunch, I went to the Celcom shop, just next to the coffee shop. I was thinking of cutting of my internet line, for cost saving indeed. ‘Sir, you need to pay the balance of RM117.00 so that we can proceed to your request’. Damn it! I said to myself… what kind of service is this even the moment that you want to stop their service; they still want you to pay something! Lesson learnt! Never be a ‘Nice Guy’ when some one or some company is selling you their products. Do create tantrums and request extra services to make sure that a service is worth of your money. Yes, understand and apply your customer right! After that, I went to the CNI shop to do my monthly shopping. I’m surely getting my bonus this month. Not so much, but at least it can top up my monthly income.
My final destination was to MayBank. Actually I didn’t want to do this since the ASB gave me yearly bonus at the end of the year, but I have to since it is a loan basis. ‘Sir, you have to pay some amount to pay of the insurance’ ‘How am I going to pay it? That’s the reason I’m cutting of this loan because I have not enough budget to pay this every month!’ She kept quiet while I too, was hopping the fire alarm to trigger so that I can just disappear from there. I left after signing the agreement. Since It is just 1:20pm and I still have around 10 minutes from the parking coupon, I did some window shopping at the Sarawak Plaza. The last time I went there was last December when my brother Andy and I were searching for a train to be put under our Christmas tree. Sarawak Plaza really had a great make over. It looks bigger and more sophisticated!
I reached my car and found out 2 parking summons were on the front wiper! What? It’s just 1:29pm and why did they summoned me? I abruptly brought that pink sheets to the small counter where people pay tickets or buy parking coupons. ‘Kak, could you please check is this correct or not?’ I was nearly blown up but still have the passion. ‘Betul lah ni’, she answered back positively. ‘What? Camana boleh betul ni?’ It is just 1:30pm!’ I made my voice higher and recheck the time on my wrist watch. ‘Gosh, it’s 2:30pm’ I said to myself. Oh, I poked wrongly, I should have poked number 2, but I poked no 1 instead. ‘Sorry lah kak’, Bukan slalu bertemu saya pun’… immediately I went off from the booth! Another lesson learnt: Be careful when you are poking the parking coupon. Double check with the time and date to avoid summons!
Since my salary is 14% cut off by the company, I know that I am doing the right thing to cut of my monthly spending That night, since there was AF7 to entertain me, I was not lonely without the internet!

To tired of being excited

I have this problem where when I am so excited for an incoming event, on that day, I am no more excited about it. It always happens to me. For an example when I found out that I got the chance to travel to Europe fully sponsored, 2 months before the trip, I was the happiest person in the family. But when the trip was just around the corner, I tend to slower down a bit and finally, it became dull. No more excitement, as if I live in London pulak! Another fine example was when we were waiting for our new house finish being renovated, I was so excited and every night we talk and plan about the house decorations, but when the day we moved in; I lost the energy because I was so tired of being excited.

I don’t know whether there are a scientific explanations or medical term to describe this or is it a kind of sickness that can be cure. So since my wedding is coming in 2 months time, I need to control myself of being over excited. I learn from Physical chemistry that the excited electron would jump to a higher band if the energy released is there but it will go down to a lower band when there’s energy lose! In the morning of my wedding day, I want to be excited, look handsome and charming to my fiancé, I don’t want to quarrel with anyone, I don’t want to hate people, I want to be myself and not Brad Pitt, I will eat with my fingers if I want to, I want my brothers and sisters to be very happy, I don’t want to be pushed to do something which makes me look stupid even for few minutes and this list is applied to my fiancé too. Sounds selfish? Why not! It’s only a one whole day request lists! Obviously I don’t want to be like unexcited electron…

I just came back from tHe Spring after having a dinner with Kenny, my ex-classmate from primary school. I picked him up from the hotel around 7.30pm. I must thank the Face Book because we got re-connected from there. People changed when they aged. Same goes to my buddy. He is getting bald and chubby. Thank God I still have a set of thick hair. But I’m chubby lah. So since the dinner was on him, I quickly think of all the sumptuous foods which are available in Kuching. I want to eat like a king(kong) tonight, I whispered deep in my heart. Pusing punya pusing… gawd! Is there any clean food outlet in Kuching? Every shops seemed to be closed after 8:30pm. Or, maybe it’s due to the rain that made the shop owner to close down early? Finally we ended up at the Manhattan Fish Market Restaurant. The dish were a lot and I was to full to finish the sea foods. I wish I could ‘tapau’ but I need to maintain my manner tough I ate like a pig. It was all with my fingersJ.

Then we continue our memory lane session at the Starbuck for a cup of expensive and aromatic coffee. I had one hot thick Americano Coffee while Kenny had a cold ice tea. ‘’Any cheese cake for you, David?’’ Kenny asked me before he paid for our drinks. I could not believe what I answered and I was thinking about that rusty answer for the whole night until now. I answered a humbly shyly grossly timidly ‘’No’’! Padan muka aku. When people asked you to learn on how to say ‘No’, it does not apply on good foods or any good stuff. When some one offer you something nice and cool, just keep nod your head a bit, stay quiet and smile and accept what ever is offered! You will not regret but it would make your day! Lesson learnt!

We chat and chat and he asked me another golden question. ‘’So is your house furnished? Well, I did read your blog and obviously I want to give you a gift for your wedding’’ This time, I took my time to think of my answer. I don’t want to go home once bitten twice shy, twice bitten afraid to try…Entah pa pa punyer pantun. It was a happy night for us after 20 years never see nor contact each other. Well, there was no internet or hand phone during my time so communication is so depending on letters. If ones’ moving to a new place, it’s difficult to keep them tracked unless they send you another mail with their new address.

I’m happy to hear that he is successful in his work though he earns a lot more than me. We managed to call Melcome that night, another friend of ours. Melcome is coming back from Penang for good, soon. In fact I’m meeting him next week. So go and create Friendsters or Face Book. You might meet your old good friends. Who knows, maybe you are as blessed as I am because I’m getting a free 37 inch Sony LCD screen TV soon J

Mixture of Issues

I don’t have any idea what to write currently but I know that my mind love to works under pressure and it’s compiling something at this moment while I’m doing the typing. This morning I received a sms from kaban telling me that their company is lay-off few staffs already. Actually it is not my favor to jot it down in my blog but I obviously could not run away from this issue. Tonight our Minister of finance just announced the injection of RM60 Billions to support every states in the country in terms of the economic growth. It is a big amount but I do not know whether it helps to boost the growth or not because I’ve heard and read on TV and newspaper that US and the European country had injected hundred billion of dollars, earlier but there’s no signs of growth instead as if nothing happen and still there are people who are losing their jobs! I got pissed when some people asked me whether the company where I work got hit by this global issue or not. Are you dumb? Besides government sector, tell me which sector was not affected? Enough said. It’s going no where. Even the civilians are very cautious with their spending. As for me, my fiancé and I have been actively planting vages and fruits at the new house. For a starter, we have planted some daun cangkok, serai, empasak and a pokok of limau kasturi. Not for sale, but they are for our consumption only, in case there would be a recession.

Teaching Science and Mathematics subject in English is another issue here in Malaysia. Some people especially the grown ups do not want their children to study Science and Math in English. They surrendered a memorandum to the HRH the King last week. The PM who is the minister of defense only voice up in the last minute, requesting a fast decision on this matter but the minister of education wants the decision to be made slowly and wisely. Hmmmm… looks like this would become a never ending story to the students and this definitely would not affect us, but our pity children, the guinea pig! We have celebrated Independents over decades but I could not believe that our educations have not at its top conditions? I believe our syllabus is already comprehensive and comparable to the British standards. No syllabus is perfect to produce the genius and high IQ pupils but at least it is the guideline towards a higher education status. We already have professionals everywhere and that’s the living proof that the educations system is dependable. There are more important things compare to this unnecessary issue. Bully, problematic students, overage student whom is still weak in ABC and counting. Why don’t they spend their time to think about how to stop or at least minimized this ‘local’ universal issue? I want to take this golden opportunity to declare that the teachers may and can punish by canning or by any reasonable punishment to the naughty ones without being judge back by the parents.

Akademi Fantasia season 7 is on the air. There are 14 of them and 3 are Sarawakian. I have no favourite yet. Wait until the numbers of students drop to maybe 8 or 7 only then i cast my vote to the most eligible one. Currently there are a lot of playful and not serious ones and i hope they are voted out ASAP. My advise to the participants, no rediculous drama of tears dropping please unless sombody is dead amongst your family members. Please never say NO when English or difficult song is given to you, especially the song which you select your self earlier! I expect you to do your very best and flawless! Good pitching, right tempo, nice projection and perfect tones! When you cannot sing in the original key, please request to transpose to a half lower or a half higher key. No complaints from you after that unless you become sick then coma due to your own fault!

Tomorrow night I’m meeting an old ex-classmate who works in Dubai. He’s coming back for a short holiday. I don’t know where to bring him for makan2… C 1st lah.. Got to sleep now...

Wahai Kawan Islam ku...

Allah sungguh Baik
Sungguh Baik bagiku
DitunjukkanNya Kasih setiaNya
Dia menyediakan yang ku perlukan
Menyatakan kebaikan Padaku...

Long Holidays

My holidays started last week Thursday until today, Monday. Yes it's a long holiday :) and i use that time to pay my bills on Thursday, accompanied my brother to the registration dep. to register his clinic on Friday morning and later on i went for a happy hour with friends at night until wee hours, on Saturday morning Ezra and I escorted the technician to install all the fans and lights at my new house from morning till afternoon, attended Sam and Sarah birthday on the same day in the evening, went to church on Sunday morning, played badminton with the church members that afternoon and watched the AF7 that night with some cramp back muscle due to the badminton game and Today i just relax at home and watch TV. Mom went to hospital to visit her friend. We had couples of visitors though.
In the afternoon i took bathe in the bath tub while reading my unfinished book, the Ezekiel Option. Gosh.. the book is so thick and it has been months and i'm still struggling to finish the book before my wedding. Not that i must finish it nor i'll be punnish for not finishing it, but i guess, i'll be more busy later on and i might not be able to read until the last chapter... Maybe the other way round, who knows :) No rush...
These few days i ate so much of Kolo me, my favourite dish. I need to reduced it i know, for the sake of the wedding else it's difficult to find the right attire and o obviously want to look smart and handsome on that big day! Hmm, just ate my 3rd doughnut which my sister bought at the Spring mall, yeah, talking about reducing.... But one thing i realised that when fat turned to muscle, the weight increased too. Weight lifting may reduced the fat in the body but it might increase ones weight. So a balance diet and a correct excersize will definetly reduce ones weight. Hmmm, whom am i talking too???

Akademi Fantasia 7

Akademi Fantsia 7 is coming back this coming Saturday and Sunday would be the premier show where 20 lucky pre-selected students would challenge each other on that night and the 12 best would be selected as the final students in the Academy. I was a fan of the AF. But that was 6 years ago where the AF1 was firstly introduced to us on ASTRO channel. I think it was in 2003 where the 1st concert was held in the UPM Serdang hall. At that time the hall was not full, i think there were around 80-100 people only and Aznil Nawawi was the host that night was trying to make that event as merry as possible. Well, he did a good job as usual. Talking about the contestant, i did have my favorite, Vince and Norma (Khai's wife). I also did have some less-favor, Nana and Ati (mostly) because they tend to sing so out of tune and always managed to go for another round while the good ones were expelled. I blame the voters for being tone death and practiced favoritisms and patriotism in a wrong way! During the final concert, the hall was packed with people.
I enjoyed watching this show and always looking forward towards Saturday evening. Besides news, this was the only show which gathered the whole family and friends in one room. Outdoor activities were not plan during those weeks. Did I Vote? Yes, I did vote for the deserve ones. AF was a show of drama and entertainment and life after AF was over totally different. For the 1st few weeks, ones may get bored and didn't know what to do. After AF1, i couldn't wait for the coming of the AF2. Same thing happen after AF2. But i changed after AF3 because the voters started to become terribly fanatic and out of control. I started to make AF as an option with no obligation like the previous years. The more i watch AF3, the more disgusted I became. When AF4 was aired, I couldn't bother to watch it anymore. Unlike AF1 and AF2, i didn’t even know the contestant names. My Saturdays was filled with other activities.
But Thank God, AF6 ''save the day''... The AF students selected were very talented and they at least have basic in singing. So i came back to watch the show but without having myself glued to it, i took it as easy as i could. I never cast any votes since AF2. I never felt guilty about that too.

To the voters, please vote for the one whom can bring Malaysia to the World while to the AF7 pre-judge contestant, indulge me!!

Source: Berita Harian

Me: Where else since their offices had been guarded by the police...

pic: Source-Berita Harian

Ketika pelbagai pihak masih berbalah mengenai kesahihan sidang berkenaan, Mahkamah Tinggi Ipoh petang semalam mengeluarkan perintah melarang Sivakumar daripada mengadakan sebarang sidang DUN yang tidak mengikut undang-undang.
Me: Mahkamah does not have right to interfere the legislative!!!

Me: This author is stupid ke ngok? Dah lah uneducated, bias, ignorent and provocative. Dah tau those people were prohibited to enter the building to do their work, so.... you figure out lah if you are clever.. but i know you are stupid!

Me: Aneh dan memalukan? To you is it? Let the world see how democratic Malaysia is and let see who have the last laugh... I think the the next generations would even salute and respect those people for their heroic doings...

Tidak hairanlah apabila pelbagai pihak menganggap tindakan Speaker DUN berbuat demikian sebagai sesuatu yang memalukan institusi tertinggi pada peringkat negeri itu.
Me: Pelbagai pihak tu sapa? Najis betul....

'Expected' Bad News

Today we received some 'expected' news, we are going to have a force unpaid leave or in other word it’s a 15% pay cut off every months! To me it is a big matter due to the loans that I have and some debts that I need to settle! Previously I was not bother about the current situation but today, now, I too was affected and I couldn't lie to myself that I wasn't worry but truly, I am now! I need to stop from being ignorant and start to take this seriously.

After work, I don't feel that easy, I tend to eat if I felt that way so I drove towards the King Centre and had a plat of Kueh Tiau. Infact I didn't enjoy it. I started to think a lot. There were figures in my mind, as if I can see it physically. My fingers do some simple mathematics on the table, yes; I was trying to recalculate my debts and loans. I was trying to take out the unnecessary ones. Astro, phone bill, internet, car, house loan, insurance, share loan... Which one is it?

I drove back without finishing my Kueh Tiau. I couldn't taste the ingredients which the cook adds into it... What happen to me? Were my nerves also being affected by this 'expected' news? I know my hormones were, as I can see that I’m eating out of my normal schedule.

I told mom about it that night. ''Lets grow some vages'', i said to her. That's a good starter since things at the markets are getting more and more expensive. I think it's worth it to do it since i will have the force leave soon. I'll grow some vages, long beans, some limau kasturi, fruits and so on... I must have a back up plan!

I need to sleep now though it’s early. I guess my brain is so tired after doing so many plus and minus calculations... I need to be more careful with my spending starting tomorrow onwards. Good night to all especially to those whom are having same situations like me.

Busy Saturday

Last Saturday though I was tired after the photo session, I managed to wake up early. Megan and Ezra slept overnight, well, Tabuan Jaya house has become their official kampung as we the sibling agreed. My sister Doli arrived around 8.00am. Today we have things to do and places to go. Around 8.30am, I went to see Ah San, the person whom supposed to do my house grills. I met him at his shop to see the grills sample. The workshop was quite old and messy. Tools are everywhere on the floor and the iron rod were not arranged orderly. How can some people work at such place, everyday? Before I left, I try to negotiate about the price again and he agreed to make it a RM200 lesser. To me, the price is still outside my budget.
I left to picked up Andy, Doli and the two kids and also Snah. We drove to the Riveria to visit my house and I had an appointment with another Grills 'tauke' whom can make the grills cheaper with the same quality as Ah San. Oh, the water board had connected my water meter and the Sesco had connected the power meter. That's great. I can move in already, i reckoned. Move? No furniture, no bed, no gas and cooker.. Maybe next 2 months lah, after we buy some basic utensils :) I'm so excited already.. but i do hope the excitment lasts forever... I know it's so difficult to leave your old things, my own rooms, parents, pithui.. ;( .
Around 10;00, we went to visit the 4 point hotel to see and survey the ball room where the wedding function would be held. Wow, the ball all room room is beautiful, grand and magnifique. I'm satisfied with the hotel arrangement since the hotel is very new. I don't want to comment further, let the picture speaks for itself.
Around 11.30am, we rushly drove to RPR to send the 'sugu tinggi' to the owner and finally the last destination was to the photo studio where we had to select 21 photos out of 220 which was taken during the photo session. If i would have known earlier, i won't go to many places and snap those good pictures. Snah and I faced difficluties to do the selection because all the photos were beautifully taken. But we had no choice since there' no budget for the extra photos and finally decision was made. That session took us nearly 3 hours. Pity those children whom were with us for they were so hungry.
We left for home around 3.30pm. Andy, Megan and i went to TJ for our late lunch while the rest went back home. I ordered a bowl of RM6.50 laksa special It has been months i skipped laksa. I ordered a bowl of kolo mee too... same reason with the laksa..Actually i craving for both. I felt bloated when we reached home. Padan Muka.... (serve me right! :))
Went back home around 5.00pm, did some home cleaning because we'll have another -----------------------------function that evening. Ivy and family came too. She cooked some mi hun with her secret recipe. I bought packet drinks and water melons. That night, the house was full with the worshippers. Ps Kenneth was sharing. It was the first time i spoke to this friendly pastor. Surprisingly he played both the guitar and piano too. Well, people now a days are unpredictable. We had fun that night and i slept around 1.00am that Sunday morning.
