Huhuhu...

Last night I had a bad dream. It was about the destruction of planet earth. As usual, people in my dreams would sometimes presence on and off. Location, I was somewhere in Sarawak while mom and dad were also seperatedly somewhere in Sarawak too. But it was too obvious that dad was in the army again by looking at his attire and some army troopers who were with him at that time. They were physically hiding from something in a confine room, wrapped in Al or sort of metallic wrapping paper. Usually that would makes people think of radiation prevention! But in this dream, dad seemed not to be so close to me or could it be he was on duty and never to be disturbed! In this dream, none of my siblings were around. Even my wife, but my two puppies were there with me. I just watched dad helplessly from far praying that everything would be all right soon!
Kaboom! The 1st Nuclear bomb stroked the earth. I saw bright light everywhere but I don’t know where to run. There were so many people running here and there searching for sanctuary. I didn’t know where to go but later I found out that I was by the river bank with my puppies. Then suddenly there was a man from nowhere shouted at me "Watch out for your puppies, they might get killed for food!” At the same time, I called my mom and ask what was her situation back at home. She replied to me that she was fine together with the others and she continued so that I would be ready to face the 2nd nuclear bomb strike. “2nd one?” I asked her back for confirmation hoping that I did not hear her properly.
I have to get myself prepared for the 2nd one but how? I had not been eaten well and to drink the poisoned water by the river, it’s suicidal, only the tap water from one place was safe to drink because the source is from the mountain. Waiting for the 2nd strike was actually depressing. So some groups of people purposely get together some sort like a party to leave aside temporarily their problems and the bad feelings. I was there too, hoping to meet or see anyone that I knew in that place but too bad, everyone is a alien to each other but share the same fret which is mounting in them!
Some of them have their radio on and music was playing but still everyone had no mood or no reason to be jovial. Later the 2nd nuclear bomb strokes the earth. And it was 6.45am. I heard Madonna singing ‘Take a bow’ on my cell phone. I was awoken by the morning alarm Oh; thank God my nightmare is over... I’m glad that I don’t have to see nor experience the 2nd nuclear bomb effects. Not now, I guess, I’m not ready yet. Maybe I’m not ready for the 1st nuclear bomb effect too. It would be terrible I know!

But what happen if it was not a dream?

It's hot now..

This week I managed to complete my last 2 projects. To total up there were 5 projects since year April 2009 until Jan 2010. All is implemented and some are under tight follow up by the module representatives. Well, should I be proud of myself? Should I ask for an increment and a job promotion? My last increment was in last November if I’m not mistaken and it is only RM500.00. That’s an average value a staff like me would always get yearly actually but I also am hoping for more this years ahead. With the higher living cost, fuel, hey, Kuching is not like 5 years back. Kuching has grown wild and congested! Thank God, I still have jungle just nearby my house and I hope it would be there until many generations.
Last night wife, Bruxels, Dresden and I had a fun time BBQed at the patio. I bought few pieces of chicken wings while she bought charcoals and few slices of hams. As usual wife would start the fire, and jokingly I told her that I was a member of the Red Crescent and not Scouts who are good in making fires and survive in thick woods. Within seconds, flash... the fire woods burn and I was so excited to do the grilling. As if I’m watching the AFC channel, license to grill, where a man doing his cooking outside his house with some expensive utensils and big oven and his big refrigerator is just nearby and the most interesting part is there is a big swimming pool behind him! So when I did my own grilling, it’s quite similar to what he did. I don’t have big oven but I do have a small cheap portable BBQ stove. I don’t have swimming pool but I do have a small plastic swimming pool where Dresden, Bruxels and I swam during hot time. It was anyway a perfect picture where I can do everything like that man. Of course the main point here is to grill a good meal and we did it. The chicken wings, the hams, beans and the salads were all ready by news time. I bought each a bottle of coke and it was very refreshing!! We ate at the patio by the garden while watching the news TV3 and the puppies were greatly behaving themselves lying on the floor waiting for their turn to be fed.
I got my bicycle back but too bad both tubes were faulty and need to be replaced if I want to use it. Emm, got to plan it this coming Saturday. I have lists of things to do this Saturday, morning I need to bring E’den for his final vaccination, and to start his de-worm therapy. Only after that I have time to fix my bicycle. I don’t want to have a hectic weekend. Let it come and go as slowly as possible and as long I enjoy it to the fullest, I don’t mind! Oh, there will be the audition for AF* this weekend too. Not sure whether I should follow up on this like I use to do since AF1 until AF7. No regret what!! I flew to KL twice and I met my cousin Jamie for the 1st time and I went to IKEA and the CURVE for the 1st time in my life and I ate at my favorite restaurant the Burger King and I wonder why all of those are only found in KL?? Oh, American Idols also now playing on the screen searching for the top 12 finalist. Surprisingly if you watch properly on most of the candidates, they really had a changed of personality before and after they finish the audition. Fr example, there was a girl from Alaska I think, and she was so devoted to her religion and she walks gently into the studio and praying so that she will do well. She was an angel like I can say but when the result came out with a red card, she screamed like a rejected angel falling from the sky. OMG, I never such thing…. So embarrassing I guess but to me, that idiotic melodrama is unnecessary
January will end soon and here comes the month of February. I do hope my project works and I really pray to God that HE will guide my way to success. Maybe I give myself another 5 years with this company before I resign and be my own boss to my own company. May God Bless me! But starting next week, I’ll be doing something different. It is something I really am looking for actually, though it’s tough, hard and time consume, I am willing because it is worth!
I want to attached my puppies pictures here but the net is to slow now, later maybe…

Weekend Picnic

Last week I brought my puppies, nephew and my niece for a picnic at Tang Bukap River. The overnight rain made the water quite deep and the rapid is I consider quite dangerous for children. I don’t know why i was so eager to go outing on that rainy morning where people tend to sleep on that cold Saturday morning but I didn’t. Actually I myself love the outside activity such as camping, jungle tracking, swimming and travelling. But I never like to drive on a straight lane road because it made me easily tired and sleepy.
After preparing everything, I drove my wife’s kembara to fetch my child fruit and my dad to baby sit them. I know they love water but since my puppies are going so I need more menpower to take care of some other thing. Through the journey Dresden and Bruxels slept underneath the sitting compartment. Maybe they were afraid or nerves but they were being so good puppies and they did not bark and made any tantrums like some children used to act.
We reached the river side an hour after we got the best spot. There were so many nice spot where you can have a level ground to set your picnic spot and also the fire and the choice is yours. As for us, we prioritized the safety and only then the fun of being by the river. My wife set up the fire while I bring my child fruits and puppies by the river. My dad just sat down on the mat to relax while reading the newspaper. Too bad, I forgot to bring the radio. Ok here are some basic needs if you want to go picnic.
Big Mattress, a radio with good transmission, Old newspaper, Pillows, mosquitoes’ coils, Foods and drinks, Few bottles of clean water-you may keep in the car to wash your feet later, Plastic bags for left-overs and rubbish, junk fruits and some sweets, slippers and enough clothing.
Enough of that, hehhehe… As you know that Dresden is a little bit a city puppy while Bruxels just came from kampong, believe it or not, Bruxels would survived if I put her alone in the jungle for a few days but only God know what will happen to my Dresden who doesn’t know how to go down the slippery hills, how to swim along the shallow river and how to sustain the nasty cold. Bruxels, no Problem. She went down the hills in seconds of time and she swam like an Olympic swimmer and the cold is aher friend! But my love to them is equals. They are from different breed and from different parents but they are so close to each other. I could remember the 1st time they met, since Dresden is our 1st puppy, he has all the authority to do things that he wants.
---------------------LUNCH----------------

Wow, the rain has not stop since yesterday. Hmm there’s a possibility flood will hit us again. I have to stop here for a while. I’m too full.

Happy New Year 2010

Christmas is over and the New Year has come. It is the year 2010, another year of opportunity and more challenges. My wife and I spent Christmas at Sri Ijah. The 1st visitor that came as early as 9.00 am was my colleague. Then the visitors were church members, friends, cousins and neighbors. This year, the visitors were more comparing to last years. New faces were seen such as my brother’s neighboring shop owner, my wife’s friends and oh ya, Apai came too. Such an honor to have as such as a visitor! Everyone got tired when evening comes. So we decided to officially close house around 9.30PM and pay a visit to my sister’s house at Beverly Garden. The whole families go visiting on the next day, Saturday. The 1st house that we went to was Stella’s residency, next to my cousin’s Bangkar, then my sister’s in laws at Quop, followed by my in law at Serian. It was fun though. We went back around evening time. My wife went back to have some rest because that night we plan to go for ngabang to Henry Guya’s house.
I really enjoyed my 11 days leave. It’s a new experience because I spend it with someone. I broke my lap top and it is still at service now, but it’s a blessing in disguise that I have more time to spend with my family during the holidays otherwise. I spent my new year eve at church with wife, parents and nephews. My sister ivy was hospitalized after she had vasectomy. It’s a good family planning method to avoid pregnancy after sex. As for me, I’m still waiting for any sponsor only then I want to have children. As of now, please stop asking when we want to have babies.
Wife, E’den and I had a new member in the family, please welcome Bruxels, a female puppy and E’den’s little friend. But watch out, she would never be bullied ok. I’ll past on some pic soon. They were sp cute when together though at first, E’den didn’t want to welcome her but as of now, they both are best friend. Bruxels was breed in a kampong style and she is a survivor. Unlike E’den who live in town found some difficulties when he is alone. Yes, he is not independent like Bruxels. Bruxels prepare to do her business on the grass while E’den does his on the cement and at my lovely patio which is so frustrating because we had to clean the cements and patio every morning while E’den thought that is our duty to it because it is our responsible! Gross!!! E’den, if Bruxels who is 4 weeks younger than you can go to the grass and shit and pee there, why can’t you? So I decided to send E’den to have a week crash ‘’team spirit like’’ course at kampong where Bruxels came from... Just wait E’den, it’s just the matter of time.
I received so many requests from the FB from my old ex classmates and university mate too. Thanks To FB whom was able to gather and reunite us after many years.
Need to stop here. No issue if I still want to greed everyone a Happy Christmas and a Blessed New Year 2010.
