Good Bye Hafiz, Hello Mathew

Yes, that was HAfiz, my idol. He went back to KL this afternoon, 1:30pm and i was there at the airport not knowing his schedule i was blessed to see him depart to KL. Actually i was waiting for my friend Mathew and his family members to arrive in KIA around 1:30pm from Brussels->Frankfurt-> Singapore-> KL-> KIA. While waiting i sat at the KFC corner, at the top floor facing the runaway. I love to watch the aeroplane take off and landings. It runs in the family i guess. Out of a sudden, i saw a bunch of family whom i recognize coming towards the window. The first to say hi was abang, Hafiz cousin and it continues to the rest of the family, including Hafiz dad. "Where were you last night Abet? I reserved a t-shirt for you, you know?" Kak Salwa, another Hafiz elder cousin asked me later on. Oh i was there.. it was too crowded... Suddently i saw a familiar face one floor under us, Yes, he was Hafiz. He was talking on the phone with his mom whom was just near me. I can see the mother was crying a bit.. Well aunty, it's the sacrifice that you have to make for the super star.




Hafiz was really listening to his mom's advide and sometimes the conversation was disturb by the passing by fans... hehhehe.


Then it's my turn pulak to talk with him. Kak, asked Hafiz to look here, I said. Then hafis looked at me while i took his photo. There were a lot of sign language being use here and i do hope he understandas. At least he show his thumbs up.. He must think who the heck is that big fat guy keep on waving at me? hahaha..

Me: Hafiz, Abet here, i'm one if your fan.. hehehe

Hafiz: Is it? Thank you abang Abet, thank you for supporting me and my career

Me: Apiz, congratulations ya, anyway, Jeth, Emilia, Jamie and Ainul (KK) will support you no matter what. Keep on chasing your dream and let the whole world know that you are the superhero! You have made us proud!

Hafiz: Thank you again bro!

At that time, i just want to shed some tears of happiness for him for being so young yet already being exposed to the cruel world. World of injustice, TAX, debts and so on. It reminds me of my self because when i was 18, i was already being seperated from my mom, dad and the others. I was in STAR, Ipoh to persue my study. That was 15 years ago and though my fight and Hafiz's is different, but we are doing it for the same reason, to make our parents and family proud of us!

Me: Hafiz, one more think, when you walk and perform, watch your posture, stand straight and look up high, as if you are the soaring eagle. Be it the wind it rains or anything that is trying to push you back, face it with great integrity and confidence. You are a good boy!

Hafiz: THANK YOU abang ABET!
